Our learners celebrated the triumph of good over evil on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. From engaging skits showcasing the story of the festival to crafts teaching about the festival’s importance, it was a day of dynamism and delight!
To celebrate National Post Day, our young Ivyians penned heartfelt letters to their parents, followed by an exciting visit to the Indian Post Office in Jalandhar. There, they learned about the various functions and roles of the Indian Postal Service. The day concluded with the special moment of mailing their handwritten letters.
Our little Ivyians came together to honour the remarkable courage and dedication of the Indian Air Force. Each child paid tribute, saluting the sacrifices made by our brave air warriors who protect our skies and safeguard our nation.
At Ivy World Play School, Jalandhar, we are committed to nurturing compassionate human beings. A key part of this is teaching kindness and respect for all living beings, including our furry and feathered friends. Through feeding animals and engaging in role play with plush animal toys, our little ones learned the importance of empathy and care.
Our Ivyians were introduced to varied aspects of coffee – the aroma, texture and taste. From learning numbers through coffee beans to a dedicated coffee corner, each child had a delightful time learning with this delightful beverage.

Through activities such as practising cleanliness, yoga and learning about key moments and teachings from his life, we were proud to instil a sense of national pride on Gandhi Jayanti.
It was a day filled with vibrance and creativity as our Ivyians lit up the stage in a dazzling display of colourful costumes at our fancy-dress competition. From new-age platforms and social messages to devotional themes and superheroes, the performances were truly inspiring for everyone!
Engineering is a field that spans multiple domains. Our young learners were introduced to a career in engineering through a host of fun activities – bricklaying, road construction, house building, etc. These aim to give our Ivyians an overview of this new-age career as well as instil respect for hard work.
Our young Ivyians were delighted to learn a language filled with expression and beauty – Hindi. The day was filled with vibrant activities, from storytelling sessions to fun videos. Each activity ignited a newfound love for the language not only among learners but also in the hearts of our teachers, too.
